Accreditation of Foreign Representation in Ukraine
In compliance with the legal regulations in Ukraine, foreign representative office means "a fixed place of business through which the permanent economic activity of a non-resident is fully or partially carried on in Ukraine. The term "permanent representation" includes specifically a place of management, a branch, an office, a factory, etc."
A person who acts on behalf and has an authority to represent non-resident legal entity interests in Ukraine on the basis of corresponding powers duly registered, also equals to foreign representation.
The accreditation procedure in accordance with the established order is required to register a foreign representation in Ukraine. The registration procedure can take up to three months.
Due to increasing complexity and inconvenience in a proceeding, foreign entities rarely use such form of presence as accreditation of their own foreign representation in Ukraine.
